Folky snake

S is for SNAKE
This picture was taken at the Martin Guitar factory in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. They have a fantastic museum of folk art collectibles, displays of wonderful guitar memorabilia and the guitars used by various artists from Johnny Cash to Crosby Stills and Nash. Theres also a fabulous walking tour that is so worth the time and you can see the way Martin guitars are constructed - everything from the way they are polished to the embellishments cut into the fronts around the hole. Its hard not to drop a few bucks in the gift shop on t-shirts, hats and assorted doo da. It looks to be a great place to work, and I recommend the tour if you are in that neck of the woods or are within driving distance. A big thanks to my Brother Mark, who drove me out there one day while I was back East two years ago for the one and only time in years. I have a lot more pictures I will link as a slide show sometime in the future.
